“ A Gem of a restaurant. The starters were amazingly delicious. Peshwari Nan was filled with sweetness. I would recommend the vegetable mains. We were very well looked after by Ali the manager. ”
“ Back from airport run and needed a quick fix to eat. Managed to find this hidden gem. Don’t be fooled by the outside. The taste is in the food and it served! The staff were lovely and very welcoming. Ordered lamb chops, chicken Karai and a mango lassi. Also, I must add the salad was very good. Not like most Asian restaurants that serve only onion and dead lettuce! Chops were juicy and flavoursome. Cooked very well and not over cooked like most Asian restaurants. Chicken karai was lovely. I requested not on the bone and it was served that way. Very tasty in my opinion and would recommend. Mango lassi was nice but would prefer with ice Overall 5/5. Thank you :) will be back again next time ”
“ It was a lovely place to visit. It wasn't busy when I was there on a Saturday evening, so there was ample seating. The place itself is well presented and clean with very comfy chairs. We had the Mixed Grill for 4 people, the Chappli Kebab, Lamb Bhuna, and Tandoori Roti with Rice. Everything was cooked very well. Hot, tasty, and fresh. The service was good, and we left complementing the food and staff there. The Mixed Grill was a particularly generous portion compared to other places we eat locally. The food was grilled very well. I think the food could have been a little bit spicier but that's just because I like spicy food, I genuinely had no complaints and everyone was very satisfied with the meal. I think it is a great venue to come with your family as everyone can enjoy the food there. For the price range this is an excellent place to visit. We will be coming back. ”

“ A friend recommended this restaurant so we went. We had Onion Bhaji, Lahori Lamb Karahi, Chili Paneer, Tarka Daal, Chicken Reshmi Seekh Kebab, Peshawari Naan, Naan and Pilau Rice all cooked freshly to perfection. Salman was very knowledgeable and served us well The atmosphere was friendly We parked on a side street but one can park in Tesco's which is next door free for an hour and half We will certainly be going back to Dera Karahi ”
